Ballin'
This EP art was inspired by the animation style of Freddie Gibb & Madlib’s, ‘Bandana Album’. The concept was to give a summer vibe over looking the downtown area of Portland, OR.
Culture
For this project we wanted to incorporate her 90’s free flow, hip-hop sound, so I put together a collage look with illustrations and photos to give it that 90’s touch. The concept was to have Ms. Elle painting a mural on a wall with letters that represent different cultures from around the world.
Queen of the Sound
This is Ms. Elle’s latest single, promoting an upbeat, yet funky sound with an OG hip-hop vibe. The look is encapsulated by using gold letter rings and photography taken by film reflecting an “old school” look. The satin overlay with purple undertones balance the gold texts creating a classy reflection of Ms. Elle’s style with a touch of sass.
Ladies To The Mic
The logo was designed for Ms. Elle’s public radio show on Portland Radio Project 99.1 where she played female fronted hip-hop and rap. I was inspired by the Brooklyn MC look, taking inspiration from the city where hip-hop was originated.
