Dye Sublimation & Production
Use of large printers to print and press custom accessories and apparel for clients using the dye sublimation process. Dye sublimation is fairly new within the garment printing world. It is where printers use CMYK levels to distribute an image or print on large paper. Once printed, the ink is pressed on polyester/poly blend fabrics that is sent through a hot press and transfers the print on the surface of the fabric.
Custom Chipotle Robe for Marcus Smart
This was a custom project for a promotional robe for Chipotle for Marcus Smart of the Boston Celtics. This was to be worn on the NBA’s opening season 2020.
I assisted with the production and coloring during the sublimation process as well as embroidery and art placement. I made sure that the first sample and fit was made according to Marcus’ measurements. Communicated with pattern maker and production manager of any changes on the robe.
Twillow Coding Gloves
Custom coding gloves made for Twillow for a company event. Gloves came with a USB pocket and velcro closure strap.
During this project I conducted color tests for all seven designs and finalized designs with clients. I also digitized the patterns and made ensured all designs were ready for final production.
